Houston Rockets center Yao Ming will sit out Wednesday's game against the Dallas Mavericks with a sore left foot. The team said Yao is being held out "for precautionary reasons" after leaving Monday's game at Oklahoma City with an apparent left ankle injury. Yao underwent tests on Tuesday that revealed no structural damage.

Maxi Rodriguez scored in the eighth minute at Hampden Park for an Argentine team that showed only flashes of the skill that brought Maradona such fame.
Former first-round draft pick Troy Williamson never really got along with coach Brad Childress in Minnesota. His feelings haven't changed since leaving there, either. Williamson, now in Jacksonville, said Wednesday he lost respect for his former coach last year and would like to "duke it out" with him when the Jaguars host the Vikings on Sunday.
